A Haunting Is Coming Home...?
Just kidding!
It's just Halloween, Day Of The Dead, or any other macabre celebration you enjoy. You could be celebrating the harvest moon for all we know. However, your hosts here on MDMU 101.2 just have a few things to share with anyone who might be going out to collect some candy, visiting haunted houses, or simply cozying up and enjoying your pumpkin-flavored drink or snack.
- Please be aware of any paranatural influences that may try to seek you. Be polite, but also be prepared to book it. We only wish for the best for our listeners, so please only run towards danger if you feel absolutely certain that you can handle it!
- Respect the dead, and they'll respect you too! This works about 90-95% of the time. What about the other 5-10%, you may be asking? Those are usually aggressive undead who seek revenge against someone(s) or something(s) that caused foul emotions when they were alive. In that case, please book it. Please. We wish for you to come back relatively unharmed.
- Trying to find some tunes to listen to for this spooky season? Have no fear! We'll happily provide you some tunes for your listening pleasure.
- Looking for a nostalgic animated classic that'll take you back to your childhood? Maybe take a tune from a classic claymation movie, combining both the chills of Halloween with the wonder of some more festive holidays.
- Looking for a rock song with heavy guitar? Want to sing about digging through ditches and burning through witches? Then lend an ear (or two!) to "Dragula"!
- Looking for that one song that's not well known, but you know that it's stuck with you ever since you listened to it on a different radio station? Ever feel like you're a little haunted yourself? (We sure know a few!). Then prepare your defenses, pray they'll be friendly, hope you'll be the last one left if you choose to listen to some ghosts.
- Looking for some classic spooky songs to spike up your scary spirits? Wondering who you're gonna call? It's close to midnight, and something evil is lurking in the dark...
Enjoy your autumn festivities, dear listeners! And remember to tune in.
